What Bible Copilot is

Bible Copilot is an AI Bible study app for iPhone and iPad. You can ask any question about any verse and get a clear, Scripture-cited answer in seconds, across six purpose-built study modes: Summary, Observe, Interpret, Theology, Apply, and Apologetics. It follows the inductive method taught in seminaries — observe what the text says, interpret what it means, apply it to life — without seminary tuition.

It is free to use with no account required, and Pro unlocks unlimited study with a 7-day free trial. There are no ads, and we do not sell user data.

Who makes it

Bible Copilot is made by an independent Christian developer, not by a denomination, publisher, or church. It is part of a small family of faith and study apps and is the featured study companion of The Gospel Briefing, a daily Scripture podcast. Because we are independent, our only goal for the app is that it helps people love God and understand His Word — not that it advances any institution's agenda.

Our editorial standards

Bible study is serious, and an app that answers questions about Scripture carries real responsibility. These are the standards every answer is built to meet:

1. Scripture interprets Scripture

Our core rule. Interpretation is grounded in the biblical text and supported by cross-references from elsewhere in Scripture, rather than by outside commentary or the average of internet opinion. Where a passage is best understood in light of another, we point you there.

2. Every answer cites its sources

Answers quote the verse and cite references you can check yourself. Scripture quotations use public-domain translations (the World English Bible and the King James Version), cited inline, so you always know what you are reading and can verify it.

3. Denominationally humble

On questions where faithful Christians have long disagreed — baptism, the end times, predestination, church governance — Bible Copilot presents the mainstream views and the passages behind them rather than advocating one side. The conviction is yours, formed with your church and community.

4. Honest about what AI can and can't do

AI is a study aid, not a spiritual authority, and no AI is perfect. We design Bible Copilot to reduce errors — by anchoring answers to the text and citing references — but we tell users plainly to verify important interpretations against Scripture itself and to bring questions to their pastor and community. Bible Copilot does not replace the local church.

5. Privacy and respect

No ads, no data selling, and no account required to start. Study is private.
